Once believed to be born from the tears of the sun god Ra in old Egypt they are a long standing symbol of wisdom, birth and rebirth, community and industry.
The health and the presence of bees are a tell tale sign of an intact environment.
Maybe now more than ever, they serve to remind us of the miraculous beauty of our natural world and its fragility and at the same time its strength and resilience.
This piece is cast using the lost wax method and finsihed by hand in our studio. It is also available in several other variants and sizes, including gold plated, solid gold or gold keum boo. Please get in touch for more information.
