Full moon, warm days, everything is ripe and ready for a harvest.

This morning I harvested just a few rose geranium and calendula flowers to infuse into the NZ grown Bio Dynamic Olive oil we use.

We grow as much as we can right here in our gorgeous clean coastal landscape. We grow spray-free using seaweed, bush remnants, and compost from our place. We save seeds and constantly propagate cuttings from our best plants to keep our plants renewing and staying strong.

We also battle the wild wild West Coast weather to keep things alive. It's not easy here believe me.

We process into small batches of hand grown spray free beautiful botanicals. Yes, we use products and stock from other sources but we are always improving our processes to source better and better quality, keeping sources as close to home and as low carbon footprint as possible.

We distill our own botanicals to create small amounts of essential oils and more so botanical hydrosols from our own garden, and we also dry our hand-picked botanicals for use in masks and soaks (see our wellness range).

What we do is really very low key, but with all the care and good energy we can muster.

No, we do not have a huge business and we like it that way. We keep it small and keep it honest, and as long as we can sustain it like that we will continue to do it.
We believe we all have to constantly assess how we are doing things to make sure we bring as little negative impact and as much positive impact as we can. Evolving along the way.
